Infants aged 2 months through 5 months of age (2 doses + 1 booster)*

Your child should receive a primary course of 2 doses of the vaccine followed by a third (booster) dose. The interval between vaccinations should be at least 2 months. A third (booster) vaccination is required in the second year of life after an interval of at least 6 months from the last injection of the initial course.

* The initial course can also be given as 3 injections with ≥1 month interval between the primary doses. A booster dose should be given in the 2nd year of life after an interval of ≥6 months from the last injection of the initial course.

† The need for, and timing of further doses has not yet been determined.

Infants aged 6 months through 11 months of age

Your child should receive 2 primary doses, given at least 2 months apart. A 3rd booster dose is required in the second year of life after an interval of at least 2 months from the last dose.

Children* aged 12 months through 23 months of age

Your child should receive 2 primary doses, given at least 2 months apart. A 3rd booster dose is required after an interval of 12 to 23 months from the second injection.

Children, adolescents, or adults aged 2 years through 25 years of age

Individuals should receive 2 doses, given at least 1 month apart. An additional booster injection may be considered in individuals at continuous risk of exposure to meningococcal disease.
